Heroic Dungeon Followers Guide (And Brawler’s Guild Mention)

In patch 6.0.x you can get 2 level 100 epic followers from Heroic Dungeon achievements. You have to go into heroic Bloodmaul Slag Mines and heroic Upper Blackrock Spire. For each of the followers, Croman and Leeroy Jenkins (guess from which dungeon you get him), you have to complete an achievement. Once you do complete it, you automatically get a level 100 epic follower to add to your collection!

This guide is focused on the achievement based ones, but if you have the inn and you get the dungeon quest For the Children! you can get Millhouse Manastorm by completing his quest in Upper Blackrock Spire.

Croman

You get Croman by completing the achievement Come With Me If You Want To Live. To do this you must free Croman and get his sword. To do this requires you to kill the bosses in a specific order in Bloodmaul Slag Mines Heroic. Check the below map for the route you should take.

  1. Clear up all the trash to the boss on the left, but do not pull him. This is the boss that Croman will get his sword from. You want to clear this trash first because you’re very prone to wipes on this trash and if you die with Croman following you you will not be able to get the achievement anymore.
  2. Follow the blue line and clear all the trash. Kill the boss here as well. After he dies, Croman will be pushing around one of the wooden mills. Whoever talks to him and frees him is the person he will follow. It is not recommended that the tank picks him up, if the tank dies Croman will dissapear. Your healer is a good choice to have Croman follow. Croman has 293k health and can be healed up.
  3. Make your way back via the same path you came and kill the second boss. Croman will pick up his sword here. From here on out you have to complete the dungeon.
  4. Just kill the boss (keep in mind that the boulders will come back after they first roll towards you)
  5.  The ogre trash here can hurt the tank, so be careful with your pulls. Other than that, kill the boss, let Croman do his RP and enjoy getting your brandnew lvl 100 epic follower!

Leeroy Jenkins

Leeroy Jenkins is another follow you can claim by completing the achievement Leeeeeeeeeeeroy…? in heroic Upper Blackrock Spire. When doing this you will have to kill extra trash packs as well as an extra mini-boss (Son of the Beast). Check the map below (click for full screen) on the order of things that you will need to do.

  1. After you kill this boss you will be able to ressurect Leeroy Jenkins from his corpse. He will want to cook his chicken before he does anything though (nor do you want him to do anything, as he only has 14k health). This will start the 15 minute “Chicken” timer. After these 15 minutes he will start running the route you need to clear before the timer ends. If he gets his shoulders from the should be dead by then Son of the Beast you will get your achievement. So you’d better hurry and go up the ramp to start clearing…
  2. Pull the first couple of trash packs back through the corridor and kill them off. You do not want to wipe from accidentally pulling too many trash mobs.
  3. After you’ve killed a couple of packs start running the route on the map and make sure you kill every trash mob around.
  4. Kill this boss as you would regularly and make your way to the next trash room.
  5. Once again kill all the trash mobs here. There’s no confirmation that the drakes from the cages will do anything if leeroy comes here, but you’re better off opening any left over drake cages here and killing them. Just incase leeroy finds them too shiny..
  6. Make your way to this extra room you would otherwise not go. There’s more trash to kill and cages to open. Once it’s all down, pull the Son of the Beast who is standing over at X. This is a mini-boss and has the potential to drop some loot (not guarenteed).
  7. If the timer is not done yet, go back through the route and check if you missed anything that can harm Leeroy. Once the timer ends he will start running the route. Once he’s at the Son of the Beast he will loot his Devout Shoulders and you will get the achievement, as well as Leeroy. Congratulations!

Honorable Mention: Meatball

There is one more level 100 epic follower to get, Meatball. You can get this Gnoll from getting rank 5 on the Brawler’s Guild. Once you get rank 5 Meatball will be standing near the Brawler’s Guild vendor and you will be able to add him to your personal army!
