Last night’s hotfixes comprised of more bugfixes and at the same time Blizzard has announced a large amount of tuning changes coming with the next weekly reset. They include buffs for rogues, shamans and hunters. AoE spell will also be getting soft target caps, reducing damage to targets beyond 5 or 8 enemies!
In preparation for the Dragonflight release (a little more than a week away!) Blizzard will be performing a launch test upcoming Monday on a new Beta realm.

Creatures and NPCs

- Fixed an issue where the Underlight Angler fishing rod could not gain Artifact Power.
- The Large Green Bags that Evokers start with can now be sold to vendors.
- Fixed an issue where Unstable Elemental Confluence was incorrectly dealing Holy damage instead of Nature damage.
Professions
- Fixed an issue where players couldn’t craft legacy profession recipes that required special objects to craft them.
Quests
- The Battle for Azeroth Allied Race unlock quests are now correctly available at level 50.
- Evokers should now be able to accept the quest “From Within.”
- Fixed an issue where Evokers were not able to loot some required items for the Tarecgosa’s Rest legendary questline.
Reputation
- Dracthyr can now correctly gain reputation with the Sha’tari Skyguard and The Tillers.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Class Tuning Incoming 23 November
We’re preparing a tuning pass that focuses on high target count situations, based on data gathered from the Dragonflight Beta.
We’re adding reduced-damage-beyond-5/8-targets to a number of AOE spells, reducing the damage of a few spells, and increasing the damage of others with the intent of improving balance across specs in this damage profile.
We’ll be hotfixing these changes into the Beta very soon, and we’ll then apply them to the live game with scheduled weekly maintenance, which is early Wednesday, November 23 in this region.
Death Knight

- Psychic Link now causes Mind Blast, Mind Flay, and Mind Spike to deal 30%/60% of their damage to all other targets affected by your Vampiric Touch within 40 yards (was 15%/30%).
Rogue

- Indiscriminate Carnage cooldown reduced to 45 seconds (was 60 seconds).
- Subtlety
- Shuriken Storm damage increased by 10%.
- Shadowstrike damage increased by 10%.
- Black Powder damage increased by 5%.
- Secret Technique damage increased by 5%.
- Shadow Blades cooldown reduced to 2 minutes (was 3 minutes).
- Fixed an issue that prevented Secret Technique’s built-in cooldown reduction from benefitting from Echoing Reprimand’s Animacharged combo points.
- Outlaw
- Fatal Flourish chance to restore Energy reduced to 60% (was 65%)
Shaman

- All damage dealt increased by 5%.
Warlock
- Affliction
- Malefic Affliction now causes your active Unstable Affliction to deal 8/13% additional damage (was 5/10%), up to 24/39% (was 15/30%), for the rest of its duration.
- Dread Touch now causes your target to take 30% (was 20%) additional damage from your damage over time effects for 6 seconds.
- Doom Blossom damage increased by 15%.
- Destruction
- Rain of Fire damage increased by 15%.
- Demonology
- Dreadbite now deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
Warrior

- Executioner’s Precision now grants 35% increased damage per stack to Mortal Strike (was 30%).
- Bloodsurge now triggers 10% of the time (was 7%).
- Bladestorm Damage increased to 60% (was 50%).
- Fury
- Odyn’s Fury now deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
Beta Launch Test on Monday November 21
On Monday, November 21, we’re going to test the launch of Dragonflight content in the Dragonflight Beta, and we hope you’ll join us.
There will be a new Beta realm called Launch Test.
- At 21:00 CET, we’ll take all of the Beta realms offline.
- 21:30 CET – The Launch Test realm will come online in the pre-expansion-launch state (max level 60).
- 22:00 CET – Pre-launch closures (e.g. Elemental Storms) will occur.
- 23:00 CET – The Dragon Isles will become available, with leveling content and transport boats running.
- 0:00 Midnight CET – End of test. Launch Test realm will be shut down. Other realms will come back online in post-launched state, with characters preserved from before.
